2018, Time Machine Book Cover, Illustration West 57
The assignment was to create a book cover for the novel “Time Machine” by H.G. Wells. I used dark green and purple to give a suspenseful and slightly dangerous feel to the cover, and incorporated important plot elements to flesh out the piece as well as give it more of a sci-fi feel.
Exhibition
2019, Quest for the Legendarium, Southern Utah University, Cedar City, Ut
This series was is follows the characters of a D&D campaign to find the a book of Alchemy called the Legendarium. The color palettes reflect the characters overall demeanor, while their gear shows their respective fighting styles.
Collaborative Project
Between Twilight and Dawn, Children’s Book, Southern Utah University, SUU
This book is a self-directed project created by 10 independent illustrators over the course of 3 months. Everything from the story to the artwork, and all the way through the publishing process was completed in studio by our team. I was the Story lead for the project and I also worked as a line artist and a colorist.
